James joined Carrington in June 2026 and is part of the Client Relationship Team. He works closely with the firm’s advisers, supporting clients with their day-to-day needs and helping to ensure they receive a responsive and high-quality service. Alongside his current role, James is continuing to build his technical knowledge and practical experience as he works towards his ambition of becoming a financial adviser. He is currently working towards his Diploma in Financial Planning and is keen to continue developing his knowledge of the profession

James graduated from Loughborough University with a 2:1 degree in Economics. Before joining Carrington, he spent three years in Melbourne, Australia, where he played semi-professional cricket and worked in a youth prison.

Outside of work, James is a keen sports fan. He enjoys following Cardiff City, as well as playing cricket, golf and padel in his spare time.
