Santa in the City for Cure Parkinson’s Fundraiser

It’s the final push now!

This day next week, the Carrington team will be dashing through the snow (or at least the streets of London!), at the Santa in the City run. We’ll be suited and bearded, running as though your presents depended on it. Here’s a word from Mike…

Along the route, we’ll reach a particularly meaningful moment: crossing the Millennium Bridge.

It is a symbolic part of the incredible 4,500-mile journey taken by Tom Isaacs in 2002, a co-founder of Cure Parkinson’s, who lived with Parkinson’s himself. He chose the “wobbly” bridge deliberately as a powerful metaphor for the instability and daily challenges faced by those living with the condition. His walk inspired a movement, and we’re honoured to follow (and run!) in his footsteps next week.

To show the real impact of support like yours, we’ve attached a short presentation: HERE

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has already donated and supported this important cause. If you haven’t had the chance yet but would like to help us reach our target – and support Cure Parkinson’s in their remarkable work – your contribution would mean a great deal to us. Thank you for your generosity and encouragement so far. We’re all looking forward to next Thursday (please let it be dry), otherwise London will be overrun with soggy Santas!
