Family Bereavement Service
Through personal experience, as well as spending many years working closely with our clients, we’ve found that at a time of loss, the people left behind are expected to deal with so much and answer so many questions, when all they really want to do is mourn the passing of someone special. It can be very overwhelming.
Knowing this, we wanted to do something that could make even a small difference. That’s why we’ve created the Carrington Family Bereavement Service – to support you and your wider family through a difficult and emotional time.
Following a bereavement, there can be a great deal of paperwork and many financial decisions to deal with. Our aim is to make things a little easier by providing calm, practical support and one clear point of contact throughout the process.
We can help gather and organise the financial information needed to administer the estate, work alongside solicitors and accountants, and support surviving partners and beneficiaries with the decisions that follow.

We also believe that planning ahead can make a difficult time a little less overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created our Notes on Life document, where you can record important information for your loved ones, alongside a practical Bereavement Checklist to help you think about things in advance and guide those closest to you through the key steps following a death.
We hope these resources provide a useful and reassuring starting point for you and your family. Please do share them with anyone you feel might find them helpful.
If you’d like to chat about planning ahead or want to talk any of this through, please get in touch with us.
We are here to help whenever you need us.
