As we near the end of yet another year we’d like to take a moment to reflect on some of the memorable events and things we were grateful for during 2022…

• It’s been wonderful to be able to welcome clients back into our office and to enjoy the buzz of the team again.
• Being supported by you, and our industry friends, in raising much-needed funds for the amazing charity, Magic Breakfast. We hosted a fund manager coffee morning and the team hiked 25km over the South Downs to raise over £8,500, the equivalent of 30,610 school breakfasts.
• This year we not only offset our 2021 carbon footprint but also started the Carrington Forest. So far we have planted 350 trees, with the recent batch being added to the Gewocha Forest in Ethiopia.
• Being named a New Model Adviser Top 100 Wealth Management Firm for 2022. We were also finalists in the Money Marketing Awards in the following two categories: Advice Firm of the Year and Investment Firm of the Year.

CHRISTMAS OFFICE HOURS

The office will close at 17h30 on Wednesday, 21st December and re-open at 09h00 on Tuesday, 3rd January 2023.

We are once again, in the run up to Christmas, seeing an increase in highly sophisticated phishing messages (usually pretending to be from your bank or delivery companies) via text and email. Criminals are getting smarter, and the malicious messages are getting more difficult to spot, so please be vigilant and if in any doubt as to the authenticity of the communication, check with the sender first.

And then as we look forward to the new year, we want to wish you and your family peace, health, and prosperity in 2023. We also want to thank you for being part of the Carrington family and part
