The latest digital edition of The Carrington Club magazine has arrived! To read it cover to cover, or to access it on the go, click HERE or on the image below.

This year is another bumper edition and our theme, Future Proofing, challenged us to take a closer look at the different ways in which we can, and do future proof our lives.

Front page

Inside, you’ll meet long-time clients and friends of Carrington, Nicola Linkleter and Rob Senior, who share their experiences of navigating significant changes in their lives and what they put in place to ensure their plans were as ‘future proof’ as possible before leaving the 9 to 5 behind. We also spoke to Cecily, one of the financial advisers, about what future proofing means and looks like to her, and how she assists clients to achieve their goals and helps ensure everything goes according to plan.

A year ago, Lynn Dickinson of Emperor, kindly gave us advice on the B Corp requirements and assessment process. Here she gives us more insight into Emperor’s B Corp journey, and just after going to print, we heard that Emperor had achieved B Corp status, Congratulations on this fantastic achievement!

Also, within these pages, we discuss a modern take on retirement, the importance of emotional wellbeing in retirement, and offer some Top Tips on coping with the six emotional stages of retirement. Tommy takes us through a day in his working life, we fill you in on all of the team’s news and share with you our year of fundraising for Magic Breakfast, our 2022 Charity of the Year.

This was also a special edition for us as part of our drive to lower our impact on the environment we partnered with a carbon-negative printing company. On top of this, we also offset the carbon emissions from the printing process through a recognised carbon offset project – The Clean Oceans Plastic Bank Initiative. To learn more about the project, and our involvement, scan the QR code alongside.

We really enjoy putting together The Club and we are very grateful to everyone who contributed their time, insight, and stories to make it what it is. If you would like to be involved in the next edition– share a story, promote a cause or if there is a topic you would like us to cover, please let us know!

We look forward to hearing from you.
