Further to our Charity of the Year announcement, we’re thrilled to invite you to be part of something truly special – a charity walk that promises to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young refugees. In April the team is taking on the Ultra Challenge Easter challenge. This will see us completing a 25km walk from the Windsor Racecourse basecamp through the Great Park, along the Thames Path passing Runnymede and back to the basecamp.
🌈Why Young Roots?
Young Roots supports young refugees in London to improve their wellbeing and fulfil their potential. In a world filled with uncertainty, these young people have been forced to flee their homes, many facing extreme trauma, and continue to experience multiple barriers and challenges here in the UK.
By participating in our charity walk, you’re helping to fund programs that provide education, mentorship, and a safe space for these resilient individuals. Your support ensures that they not only survive but thrive, building brighter futures filled with possibilities.
